Spotlight Artist

Hanna Wittmack’s artistic work centers on a colorful modern aesthetic, and her upbringing in San Diego, CA seeps clearly into the clean coastal themes of her pieces. A current graduate student in the UCLA architecture and urban design department, she has dipped into the realm of disco cowboy architecture as a combination of her practical studies and her separate, yet intertwined artistic identity.

Existing loudly, she manages to bring color and vibrance to every part of her life while maintaining an independence and strong voice. In fact, she  follows the thought that we can ‘make our waves without sinking anybody else’s ship in the process.’

These styles and ideas can be seen in the unique digital products she designs, pottery she has thrown on the wheel in her Topanga home, and the dinnerware, clothing, and media she somehow has time to produce on the side. Her work will be featured in The MANNA Collection from November 2023 through March 2024.
